AppleGlot

AppleGlot, a Mac OS software localization tool, was designed to speed up the process of localizing Macintosh applications and resource files. It accomplishes this by doing following two steps:

1. AppleGlot extracts texts from resources within files and later merges your translations back with the localized resources.

2. AppleGlot does incremental updates from previously localized versions of the software. This minimizes the amount of effort needed to update a new release of a file by preserving previously localized resources, or portions of resources. Thus this approach significantly eliminates repetitive workflow. You will only need to work with those changed or newer items. AppleGlot requires TMPL template resources to analyze the resources.
